I am a dedicated IT professional with a background in everything from computer programming through network administration and management. I have experience in several non-IT areas but have focused on information technology and systems for the last 20 years. I have evolved from systems analysis and programming to my current skill set which includes planning, installing, configuring and optimizing IT infrastructure to achieve high availability and performance. Major Accomplishments in recent years
- Moved Exchange e-mail to the cloud (Office 365) with minimal interruption in service
- Outfitted the Sales Department with MS Surface computers
- Installed Meraki Wireless Access Point and secured wireless network using WEP and MAC filtering
- Installed Cisco ASA 5510 firewall and began using integrated VPN client
- Implemented VMWare ESXI 5 and NetApp SAN and virtualized a dozen servers
- Installed wireless network around campus and workstations on the factory floors
